GLENLIVET SALERS HERD

We first bought a Salers bull in 2015 to put on our heifers of all breeds, we calve most of our heifers at 24 months and the ease of calving of the Salers has been tremendous.

Not only have they been easy to calve, but they have also produced great quality calves, and potential breeding heifers have been in great demand. This has encouraged us to add pedigree Salers cows to our herd, with foundation females selected from the Drumlegagh, Cloughhead, and Cumbrian herds.
